Żywiecki Kryształ bottled water

Since 1992, the production facility in Kęty, Poland, has been bottling water under the brand Żywiecki Kryształ. The project objective was to refresh existing Żywiecki Kryształ water brand and expand the product offering by introducing a variety of beverages (carbonated and non-carbonated based on natural spring water).

The brand has been in the market for 30 years and is associated with the Żywiecki Beskids, renowned for its natural, pure mountain spring water. Traditionally and historically, the brand has had a masculine personality, mainly delivered from the “highlander” icon in the identity and its mountainous origin.

Our new bottle design proposal is a meticulously crafted a bottle with a masculine outline, depicting waves and river rapids. This dynamic design not only looks striking but also ensures a firm, ergonomic grip. The bottle is easy to use, making it a convenient choice for our customers.

New visual identity is all about nature, its unique source of water, which is one of the essential elements to support any life form. It is also a core of our visual identity for Żywiecki Kryształ. A stylised waterdrop forms a basic shape, and inside that shape is evolving our identity. At the top, we see the silhouette of the Żywiecki mountains, a clear reminder of where is our water source. Then, we have a simplified illustration of Żywiecki landscape featuring a silhouette of Żywiecki highlander, calmly drifting on its wooden boat, enjoying the river streams with a waterfall in the background.

Our Highlander character is not just a design element. It is a powerful tool that conveys our most important marketing messages. With time, we envision it taking on the role of a brand ambassador, effectively communicating the values and benefits of Żywiecki Kryształ to our customers.

Our expanded product range is not just about water. In addition to the still and sparkling water range, we have also designed a range of Flavoured waters, with bright, vivid illustrations of fruits, for clear and easy identification of a range. These flavoured waters offer a refreshing twist to the traditional water experience. We also offer a line of Functional waters, with additional benefits for your body and mind. These functional waters are designed to cater to specific health and wellness needs, providing a unique selling point in the market.

The range of labels for functional waters keeps essential visual identity elements of Żywiecki Kryształ at the upper part of the label. Then, we introduce specific elements and colours for each flavour/function. The up-pointed arrow communicates a boost that your body gets as a benefit of consuming these functional waters, and the graphics collage of natural elements suggests the source of elements.
