Plemenita is a collection of premium fruit brandies crafted by the MIS Distillery in Donji Podgradci, Bosnia and Herzegovina, using carefully selected, predominantly local fruit grown on the slopes of Kozara and Prosara mountains. Nestled beneath the ruins of the medieval Vrbaški Grad—today better known as Marija Theresa’s Fortress—the distillery draws inspiration from the rich heritage and natural character of its surroundings.
The design concept was built around a simple principle: when the product itself is exceptional, the packaging should enhance it rather than compete with it. Instead of relying on decorative elements, the visual identity embraces restrained typography, balanced proportions, and a clean composition that allows the brandy itself to become the focal point. The color, clarity, and character of each distillate are intentionally left to speak for themselves, while the label acts as a refined frame that unifies the entire product range.
Each variety is distinguished only by subtle botanical and fruit illustrations together with the product name, while a consistent typographic system creates a recognizable brand presence across the entire collection. The result is a timeless identity that feels equally appropriate for crystal-clear fruit brandies and oak-aged barrique expressions. Together, these elements create a cohesive family of products where tradition and contemporary design work in harmony, allowing the authenticity of the distillate to remain at the center of the experience.
