To celebrate 30 years of Manja, we wanted to create an invitation that would be more than simply an announcement of the event — it would become the guests’ first encounter with the atmosphere of the anniversary.
Moving away from the traditional format, the invitation was designed as a small handled package made from Glam Gold paper from the Europapier collection. Its simple construction and almost monochromatic gold surface are enhanced by subtle details: the anniversary mark and the “30 Years Made with Love” tagline are blind embossed, while the package is sealed with a round sticker featuring the anniversary mark in gold foil.
Opening the package reveals a second, more personal layer. Each invitation contained two individually wrapped Manja cookies and a matching Glam Gold envelope with a personalized letter for each guest, printed on Via Laid Pure Whitepaper. The anniversary mark and tagline were also blind embossed on the envelope, bringing all the elements together into one cohesive whole.
The choice of materials, minimal use of graphic elements, and tactile quality of the blind embossing gave the invitation a celebratory yet understated character. Gold reflects the significance of the thirty-year milestone, while the cookies inside bring the story back to what lies at the heart of Manja — its products and the idea of creating always with love.
Each invitation was personalized and personally delivered to the guests, transforming what could have been a simple invitation into a small gift — and the first part of the anniversary experience.
